Published trade lines run from $2,306.99 to $8,198.99. A full pallet is 25% below the entry quantity on the same ladder, and up to 75% below what one cylinder costs on its own.

Two pallet formats are listed. 2 kg tanks stack 162 to a pallet. The 640 g and 600 g class — 640 g, 666 g and 670 g cylinders — ships 84 cases of six, so 504 cylinders to a pallet. Both work out to roughly 320 kg of gas on one skid, which is why a pallet of either costs about the same.

Pallet and part-pallet prices

Every ladder starts at a part load and ends at the full skid. The entry quantity is the smallest fraction of a pallet we ship as a trade line; below that, the ordinary case prices on each product page are better value than a wholesale enquiry.

How the discount is worked out

There are two honest ways to measure a bulk discount and the tables show both, because quoting only the flattering one is how bulk pricing gets a bad name.

Off entry price compares each tier with the entry quantity on the same ladder. That is the number a buyer stepping up from a part load to a full pallet actually feels, and it reaches 25% at the full skid on every line.

Off one cylinder compares the per-unit price with the lowest price this shop charges for a single cylinder of that size. That gap is much larger — it is the difference between retail and trade depth — and it is the real reason to buy a pallet rather than restock by the case.

Both columns are calculated from the live prices every time the page loads. Neither is typed into this copy, so the saving advertised here cannot drift away from the saving you are charged.

3 kg tanks

A 3 kg pallet is the same 162 tanks per skid as the 2 kg, and we will quote one on the same ladder. It is not a listed line yet — there is no 3 kg cylinder in the catalogue, so there is no published price to show you and we would rather leave the row empty than put up a number we have not been given. Getting a pallet delivered

A pallet moves as freight, not as parcels, and that changes what you need at your end. One skid of 2 kg tanks is around 320 kg before packaging. Tell us your postal code and what the delivery point can take — tail lift, loading dock, or neither — and the delivered cost is confirmed before anything is dispatched.

Storage is the other half of it. Cylinders live upright, below 50 °C, out of direct sun, and a pallet needs floor space you have actually measured rather than estimated. Nothing on a pallet should be punctured, crushed or incinerated, including an empty cylinder.

You will also need a pressure regulator. Cylinders from 320 g upwards do not thread into a whipping siphon — only 8 g cartridges do — and one regulator serves a whole pallet, so it is a single up-front cost rather than a per-cylinder one.

Who buys at this depth

Distributors supplying onward, restaurant and bakery groups drawing from one central store, and caterers who measure gas by the month rather than the week. If you run a single site, a part load from the tables above or a case of cream chargers will usually fit better than a skid — a pallet ends the reorder cycle for months, but it commits the cash up front and it has to be stored somewhere real.

Work out your monthly charge count first and buy against that figure, not against the discount. A 640 g cylinder is roughly 80 standard 8 g charges; a 2 kg tank is roughly 250.
