Choosing a product
What size cylinder do I need?
8 g cartridges suit home kitchens and low volume, and need no regulator. 640 g is the common working size for a busy kitchen or bar. 2000 g and 3000 g suit high-volume or multi-station sites, and bring the per-gram cost down. There is a size table on the PrimeWhip brand page that applies to any brand.
Do I need a regulator?
Yes, for every cylinder from 320 g upwards — a cylinder will not thread directly into a whipping siphon. Only 8 g cartridges screw straight in. Regulators are in accessories.
How many charges do I get from a cylinder?
Roughly: a 640 g cylinder gives about 80 standard 8 g charges, a 1364 g about 170, and a 2000 g about 250. Figures are from the manufacturers and vary with how you use the siphon.
Ordering and payment
Do I need a trade account for case pricing?
No. The volume discount is built into the pack price, so it applies to everyone automatically. Each product page shows the per-unit price and saving at every pack size. Pallets are quoted individually — see wholesale and trade.
What payment methods do you take?
See payment methods. Prices are in CAD and sales tax is added at checkout based on your province.
Delivery
Can you deliver to my address?
We ship across Canada, but pressurised goods carry carrier restrictions that ordinary parcels do not, and they vary by province and cylinder size. Message us on WhatsApp with your postal code and the size you want and we will confirm before you order. Details on the delivery page.
My order arrived damaged. What now?
Do not use a damaged cylinder. Photograph it as it arrived, keep the packaging, and contact us, ideally the same day. We will replace or refund it and cover the return cost. See returns and refunds.
Safety and the law
Is it legal to buy cream chargers in Canada?
Nitrous oxide is a permitted food additive in Canada (E942) and culinary cream chargers continue to be sold. The 2026 Health Canada recalls targeted products found to be sold for inhalation without authorisation. Our full position, with sources, is on the safety and the law page.
Do you sell any recalled products?
No. Our catalogue is checked against both 2026 recall lists, RA-82056 and RA-81742, and we do not list flavoured nitrous oxide. The recall page sets out exactly which products are affected.
How old do I have to be?
18 or over. See our age policy.
