Products on this site are sold to adults aged 18 and over. By placing an order you confirm you are 18 or older.
Why there is an age limit
Nitrous oxide cylinders are pressurised goods, and nitrous oxide is a substance that has been widely misused by inhalation. The age limit is ours, applied as a matter of responsible retailing alongside our culinary-use-only policy.
How we apply it
- Every order carries a confirmation that the buyer is 18 or over.
- We may ask for proof of age or of a business before dispatching an order, and we may decline or cancel an order at our discretion.
- We will cancel an order where the evident purpose is inhalation, whatever age is given.
- Where a carrier requires an adult signature on delivery, that requirement applies in addition to ours.
If you are buying for a business
Most of our customers are kitchens, bars, cafés and caterers. If you are buying in case or pallet quantity, see wholesale and trade.
Concerns
If you believe someone under 18 has ordered from us, or you have a concern about how an order is being used, contact us and we will look into it.
