What you are actually trialling

Not the gas — food-grade N₂O performs the same across brands at the same purity. You are trialling the workflow: charging one siphon straight after another from a cylinder instead of unscrewing a spent cartridge each time. Teams either find that transformative on a busy pass or barely notice it, and which camp you fall into depends on your service, not on the product.

Each 615 g cylinder is about 77 standard 8 g charge equivalents — three will run a single station through a busy weekend.

The honest caveat

You also need a regulator, which is a one-off cost on top of a small trial pack. That makes a three-cylinder trial look expensive per charge. It is not a fair comparison: the regulator carries over to every cylinder you buy afterwards, and the per-charge cost falls sharply once you move to the 12, 24, 48 or 96-cylinder packs.
